Join us at our ninth BadgerConnect Research Services Fair. Hosted by the UW Carbone Cancer Center and UW Biotechnology Center, this fair joins UW research services with industry partners to showcase services provided to UW-Madison researchers. Learn about innovative technologies and discuss projects with life sciences research services to see how your research can be supported and enhanced. This free event features in-person flash talks, a research talk by Dr. Wei Xu, a panel discussion, a networking reception, and instrument demonstrations – all aimed to foster collaborations and take your research to the next level.

12:30 – 1:15 Intro and Keynote

Begin the conference with a brief introduction, and a presentation by our invited research speaker Dr. Wei Xu. 

1:15 – 1:45 Panel Discussion

Hear from several Shared Resources Managers as they discuss how shared resources can benefit your research pipelines.

1:45 – 2:00 Break

15 minute break and networking

2:00 – 3:00 Flash talks

Attend a series of brief, engaging presentations from several Shared Resources that highlight current research, services/instrumentation, and industry collaborations, offering a quick introduction to each facility and the work they support.

3:00 – 4:30 Networking Reception and Instrument Demonstrations

Connect with fellow attendees while exploring instrument demonstrations, and continue conversations with shared resources and industry partners.
