Our theranostics clinical research program continues to grow, along with broader efforts to expand theranostics capabilities at UW. Until now, the Theranostics DOT has served as a resource to help other DOTs open and manage theranostics trials. We are now expanding the Theranostics DOT so it will manage and coordinate new adult theranostics clinical trials.
With this change:
- The Theranostics DOT will become part of Pod 5, which also includes the Early Phase Oncology Therapeutics (EPOT) DOT and is led by Pod Manager Lyndsey Deverman
- Nataliya Uboha will join John Floberg and Scott Perlman as a Theranostics DOT Co-Leader, providing multidisciplinary leadership across Medical Oncology, Radiation Medicine, and Nuclear Medicine
- We are planning to add clinical research staff to support the expanding DOT
- Megan Hermanson will continue her programmatic work in theranostics clinical research and will also take on study activation in partnership with the Pod 5 PACs
Current theranostics studies have been reviewed to determine whether they should transition to the Theranostics team or remain with their current DOT. We are working directly with individual study teams on any transitions.
