Sharon Weber

Dr. Weber reports to center leadership on cancer research and UW Health surgical oncology service regional affiliate issues. On behalf of UWCCC, Dr. Weber directs local and regional best practice efforts and coordinates care and research involving cancer patients throughout the catchment. Dr. Weber works directly with O’Regan and Jarrard, respective ADs of Clinical and Translational Research, to incorporate surgical specialists in our catchment. Dr. Weber is Professor of Surgery and Division Chief of Surgical Oncology. She is a translational researcher in hepato-biliary cancers with special emphasis on cancer surgery combined with novel imaging/therapy approaches.
