Dr. Jarrard oversees the Office of Translational Research (OTRS). OTRS is a research infrastructure supporting and coordinating multi-investigator and interdisciplinary collaborative translational research activities, including a Precision Medicine Molecular Tumor Board Coordinator; IRB/IND submissions and compliance; statewide translational imaging projects (e.g. WONIX) and SPORE and PPG development/submissions. He also directly supervises the translational science programs of Developmental Therapeutics and Imaging & Radiation Sciences. Dr. Jarrard is Professor of Urology and Molecular and Environmental Toxicology, Vice Chair for the Department of Urology and the John Livesey Chair in Urologic Oncology at the University of Wisconsin. Dr. Jarrard is an independently funded translational researcher who is a national leader in urologic oncology and prostate cancer specifically.
