Joshua M. Lang

Dr. Lang is a physician-scientist with a broad background in molecular biology, medical oncology and translational research. He completed the American Board of Internal Medicine Research Pathway in the UW Physician Scientist Training Program and joined the faculty at the UW in 2012 with an independent laboratory focused on the development and integration of liquid biopsies for translational research and clinical trials. He established the CBC in 2017 in the UW Carbone Cancer Center (UWCCC). In addition, he leads the UWCCC Liquid Bio-specimen Acquisition Team, represents UWCCC on the NCCN Prostate Cancer guidelines committee, is the co-Director of the UW Physician Scientist Training Program in the Department of Medicine, is the Associate Program Director for Research of the UW Hematology/Oncology fellowship program, and is the co-Leader of the Tumor Microenvironment Program at the UWCCC.
