Job Summary
The Clinical Research Compliance Supervisor leads the internal audit and quality assurance review (QA) initiatives for the University of Wisconsin Carbone Cancer Center (UWCCC) clinical trials portfolio. This role will oversee the audit workload of compliance and monitoring coordinators to ensure all oncology studies comply with federal regulations, Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines, institutional policies, and trial protocols. By overseeing systematic internal reviews, this position protects patient safety, ensures data integrity, and maintains the center’s regulatory readiness for external inspections. The incumbent will work with clinical research leadership to develop, execute, and refine the annual risk-based internal audit plan for all interventional, observational, and investigator-initiated oncology trials.
Required Qualifications include a minimum 5 years’ experience clinical research compliance, minimum 5 years’ experience in oncology clinical research, minimum 4 years’ experience auditing or monitoring clinical trials.
Preferred Qualifications include experience with National Cancer Institute (NCI) Cooperative Groups and experience with external audits or inspections (e.g., sponsor, FDA).
This Academic Staff-Renewable appointment is full-time (100%).
