The amazing CRFO team handles all financial workflows for non-grant clinical trials run through the UWCCC’s DOTs, including budget development, budget negotiation, amendments to contracts/budgets, invoicing, receiving/reconciling payment, monitoring/approving expenses, and managing Advarra Participant Payments. This work requires collaborating with many other CCC teams and UW departments, as well as a great deal of attention to detail, patience and perseverance. With a combined 57 (!!) years of CRFO experience, the team are experts in their work and do their part every day to support the UWCCC’s mission to bring new treatments to patients. In addition, despite being fully remote since 2020 (though sadly no one actually lives on a beach 🙁), the CRFO is a super fun, supportive, and close-knit team who enjoy sharing their kids, pets, travels, and sports rivalries.

- Pre-Award (up to 2 positions): budget drafting, budget negotiation, contracts review, and amendment to contract/budgets
- Financial Specialist: will work with both pre/post award helping to manage budgets in OnCore, taking over participant payments, and working on revenue and expense review
