Mission

Our mission is to reduce the burden of cancer and cancer health disparities through impactful population science research integrated with community outreach and engagement across Wisconsin spanning prevention to the end of life.

Vision

We envision conducting the research and community outreach and engagement essential for defeating cancer and achieving health equity across Wisconsin and around the world.

Our Aims

Aim 1: Foster understanding of the cancer burden in Wisconsin with a special emphasis on health disparities.

Aim 2: Create long lasting community relationships to promote outreach activities and engage communities across Wisconsin in UWCCC research including clinical trials and community-based participatory research.

Aim 3: To work with and serve our community organizations, affiliated health systems, and regional networks in the dissemination and implementation of evidence-based interventions and health policy recommendations, particularly for underserved populations.
