DOT Leadership Updates

The Clinical Research Central Office is pleased to share several updates to faculty leadership across our Disease-Oriented Teams (DOTs):

  • Pediatric Oncology: Dr. Austin Stuckert, Assistant Professor of Pediatrics, will serve as DOT Leader. She is co-director of pediatric neuro-oncology and focuses on improving outcomes for children with high-risk brain tumors. She serves on the UWCCC Protocol Review and Monitoring Committee (PRMC) and will join the Clinical Research Committee (CRC) in this role. We thank Dr. Cathy Lee-Miller for her leadership and service.
  • Leukemia: Dr. Kalyan Nadiminti, soon-to-be Associate Professor of Medicine, will serve as DOT Leader. He is a hematologic malignancies specialist with expertise in leukemia and stem cell transplantation and serves as co-chair of the Myeloid & Transplant Clinical Trial Working Group within the Big Ten Cancer Research Consortium (BTCRC). We thank Dr. Aric Hall for his leadership and contributions.
  • Melanoma: Dr. Vince Ma, Assistant Professor of Medicine, will serve as DOT Co-Leader alongside Dr. Mark Albertini, after previously serving as Associate DOT Leader. He has been instrumental in advancing clinical trials for melanoma and cutaneous malignancies and also serves as the Early Phase Oncology Therapeutics Associate DOT Leader for Immuno-Oncology.
  • Breast: Dr. Rubina Qamar, Associate Professor of Medicine, will serve as DOT Co-Leader, joining Drs. Lee Wilke and Kari Wisinski. Dr. Qamar is an experienced breast medical oncologist with strong clinical trial enrollment and contributions to clinical research.
