Department: Medicine Division of Hematology, Medical Oncology, and Palliative Care

Title: Professor (CHS)

Research Interest: Lifestyle interventions for individuals with cancer and integrative approaches to dealing with cancer and cancer treatment related side effects.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Amali Samarasinghe, MD, PhD – Tumor Microenvironment

Department: Medicine Allergy and Immunology

Title: Visiting Associate Professor

Research Interest: Pulmonology immunology as it pertains to asthma and respiratory infections. Investigating a significant correlation between the development between chronic inflammation and remodeling/injury repair to subsequent lung cancer. Projects in her laboratory pertain to hematopoietic stem cells that may play a role in the transition from health to disease.
