Amali Samarasinghe, MD, PhD – Tumor Microenvironment

Title: Visiting Associate Professor
Research Interest: Pulmonology immunology as it pertains to asthma and respiratory infections. Investigating a significant correlation between the development between chronic inflammation and remodeling/injury repair to subsequent lung cancer. Projects in her laboratory pertain to hematopoietic stem cells that may play a role in the transition from health to disease.
