Our biospecimen repository contains samples from almost 14,000 unique donors, including both tissue and blood products. As each need for biospecimens is different and our inventory is quite complex, we request that investigators contact us to discuss potential projects so that we can identify the specimens within our bank that will meet your needs or develop a plan to obtain them in the event that we do not have archived specimens available. We can also discuss whether you need to pursue IRB approval for your studies or if you will be able to receive them under the definition of not human subjects research.
Highlights of our inventory include:
- Tissue from multiple cancer types
- Frozen and fixed
- Often with matched normal tissue
- Tissue microarrays
- COVID-associated specimens
- Nasopharyngeal swabs
- Convalescent plasma, with multiple time points
- Saliva
- Blood components from patients representing a variety of disease states and healthy donors
- Plasma
- Serum
- Buffy coat
- PBMC’s
- FTA cards
