Digital Spatial profiling coming to the TRIPath Lab on 2021!

The GeoMx Digital Spatial Profiler (DSP) from NanoString is a benchtop instrument that combines spatial and molecular profiling information and high-plex immunohistochemistry (IHC) or In situ hybridization (ISH) of FFPE or frozen tissue slides. This system is designed to spatially resolve 10’s-1,000’s of RNA or protein analytes on tissue image at near single cell resolution and collect genomic material from distinct, user-defined, regions of interest. This unique combination of high-plex and high-throughput spatial profiling with the nCounter MAX system from NanoString, enables researchers to rapidly and quantitatively assess the biological implications of the heterogeneity within tissue samples.  In addition, in the upcoming year, it will be feasible to combine protein and RNA GeoMx assays with NGS analysis. Besides GeoMx DSP, TRIPath has partnered up with the Biotech Center to offer Visium Spatial Gene Expression from 10X Genomics, for cryopreserved tissue and projects that require a broader analysis of genes.
