Poonam Yadav

Dr. Yadav is an assistant professor in the Department of Human Oncology. Much of her current work involves the ViewRay MRIdian System, an MRI-guided radiation therapy machine that enables clinicians to monitor tumors and surrounding tissues during treatment. She conducts patient-specific quality assurance and pre-treatment and real-time treatment setup verification. Dr. Yadav is also involved in commissioning and acceptance testing of new radiotherapy machines and establishing clinical protocols and planning techniques for various disease sites.
