17th Annual Medical Student Research Forum

The Forum showcases the research accomplishments of over 120 medical students through podium and poster presentations. The majority of students conducted research under the mentorship of UW faculty mentors during the summer between their first and second year of medical school. The Shapiro Guest Lecture is given by Nasia Safdar, MD, PhD, the recipient of the 2018 Dean’s Award for Excellence in Medical Student Research Mentorship.
