Science Careers in Oncology REsearch
UW Carbone Cancer Center’s SCORE program, funded by the American Cancer Society, offers undergraduates a 10‑week paid, mentored research experience in cancer science. Interns gain hands‑on exposure to basic, translational, or population health research, while building skills and exploring career paths in cancer research.
Beyond the summer research experience, interns have opportunities to continue to engage with the program throughout the school year with additional workshops, networking opportunities, and opportunities to present their research.
