Individuals who participate in university sponsored travel still must comply with UW and UWCCC travel policies including obtaining pre-trip approval from their managers or PIs.\u00a0 UWCCC employees are to use personal funds for travel expenses unless doing so would cause a financial hardship, and then submit an expense <\/span>reimbursement claim.<\/p>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\">Travel Requests are required for:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span role=\"presentation\">Patient lodging<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span role=\"presentation\">Non-employee travel arrangements<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span role=\"presentation\">Prepaid expenses due to a financial hardship<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>UWCCC Travelers are no longer required to submit a Travel Request in CARDS (Smartsheet) prior to making travel arrangements with personal funds.
