We’re happy to announce that Dr. Lisa Cadmus-Bertram has accepted the position of Associate Director of Community Outreach and Engagement<\/a> for UW Carbone. She succeeds Dr. Amy Trentham-Dietz, who has become the Associate Director of Population Sciences for UW Carbone.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Dr. Cadmus-Bertram will lead programs on bidirectional engagement with communities for research, dissemination and integration of catchment area data into research, defining and aligning research with the Cancer Center\u2019s priorities, and ensuring that the Cancer Center\u2019s COE activities measurably reduce the cancer burden within Wisconsin and beyond.<\/p>\n

Dr. Cadmus-Bertram is Chair of the Department of Kinesiology and a member of the UW Carbone Cancer Prevention and Control program. Her research areas of interest include physical activity and sedentary behavior, mobile technologies to promote health, rural health, personalized medicine, and the integration of health behavior promotion with clinical care.
