Pharmaceutical Sciences<br \/>\nResearch Interest: Focus on pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics of drugs in special populations. Developing new therapeutics and the refinement of dosing for repurposed drugs, enhancing clinical outcomes across diverse patient groups. My goals is to expand collaborations with cancer researchers to advance developmental therapeutics.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/dermatology.wisc.edu\/staff\/mays-jacqueline\/\">Jacqueline Mays<\/a>, DDS, PhD, MHSc\u00a0\u2013 DT<br \/>\nDepartment: Dermatology<br \/>\nResearch Interest: Complication of allogeneic hematopietic stem cell transplantation, a treatment used for many patients with hematologic malignancies. This research advances translational cancer research and improves outcomes and quality of life for cancer patient and survivors.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.medicine.wisc.edu\/apcc\/schnapp-research\">Lynn Schnapp<\/a>, MD \u2013 TM<br \/>\nDepartment: Medicine (Chair)<br \/>\nResearch Interest: How extracellular matrix remodeling regulates tissue injury, repair, and fibrosis, with a particular focus on the mechanisms governing collagen turnover and fibroblast behavior. Hope to foster new collaborations to extend discoveries into cancer models.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.uwhealth.org\/providers\/laura-b-huffman-md\">Laura Huffman<\/a>, MD \u2013 CPC<br \/>\nDepartment: Obstetrics and Gynecology<br \/>\nResearch Interest: Patterns of optimization of cancer care referral patterns for ovarian masses, ctDNA detection in endometrial cancer; and clinical trials for the treatment of gynecologic malignancies.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.medicine.wisc.edu\/directory\/strate_lisa\">Lisa Strate<\/a>, MD, MPH \u2013 CPC<br \/>\nDepartment: Medicine<br \/>\nResearch Interest: Pathogenesis and prevention of diverticular disease, with an emphasis on modifiable risk factors and no surgical strategies for disease management.
