UWCCC Social Impact and Belonging office hours will be held quarterly, so stay tuned for future dates and times.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Recognizing and Addressing Hostile and\/or Intimidating Behavior (HIB) training can foster belonging:<\/strong> All employees of UW\u2013Madison are encouraged to participate in <a href=\"https:\/\/app.explore.wisc.edu\/e\/er?s=1427524768&amp;lid=33993&amp;elqTrackId=0F9A69E52916AE983196F51F8A7BCD0C&amp;elq=fe1ae4b168ae4aa6a12f1d0714e11204&amp;elqaid=82603&amp;elqat=1&amp;elqak=8AF5CD19570BEA1DCB9F0CA5EE3902783F9E7C78E009901A572E1C530EA18B2E0F29\">this training<\/a>, currently being offered on May 14 in person and June 25 virtually. The free training is designed for faculty, staff, graduate student employees and postdocs. Participants will become versed in recognizing characteristics of hostile and\/or intimidating behavior (HIB), understanding how to mitigate concerning behavior to foster a respectful workplace culture, becoming familiar with the university\u2019s unified HIB policy and procedures, and identifying campus resources available to those navigating concerns related to concerning workplace behavior.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Data-driven insights for rural communities:<\/strong> The Division of Extension has gathered a <a href=\"https:\/\/fyi.extension.wisc.edu\/news\/2026\/01\/08\/rural-livability-resources\/\">list of resources<\/a> available to rural communities in Wisconsin that can help them in planning and expanding livability, including data related to health. From the Rural Livability Project to Design Wisconsin, the locally informed tools are designed for and by rural communities to help them thrive.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>New!
