The following information was included in the meeting:<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>MEETING DOCUMENTS:<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/cancer.wisc.edu\/research\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/12May21-BCRAN-Meeting-Minutes.docx\">12May21 BCRAN Meeting Minutes<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The Diversity sub-committee provided highlights from the April 26, 2021 meeting<\/p>\n<p>Volunteers were identified for the \u201cBe The Cure\u201d Fundraiser to be held on Sat. Sept. 11, 2021. Contact Nancy Cahill if anyone else is interested in volunteering as this will be an in-person event.<\/p>\n<p>Another advocate was identified for an upcoming project that Drs. Wisinski and Lang are working on.<\/p>\n<p>Presentations were provided by Rebecca Shirley from the UWCCC Community Advisory Board and by Dr. Jim Shull on some of his research updates.<\/p>\n<p>Access to Rebecca Shirley&#8217;s slides are available in BOX or contact Kerri at kamiller32@wisc.edu to send them directly to you.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>On the Horizon:<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>Summer break is here. The next meeting will be held <em><strong>virtually<\/strong><\/em> on Wednesday, Sept. 8, 2021 from 6:00-7:30 pm.
