Need help with agreements? OTRS can facilitate!

All agreements must be signed by an authorized institutional official. The Office of Translational Research Services (OTRS) will facilitate the review, negotiation, and execution of non-funded agreements for research teams in UWCCC.

Agreements for Materials/Data/Confidentiality

  • Material Transfer Agreements (MTAs) for incoming or outgoing research materials
  • Confidential Disclosure Agreemtns (CDAs), or Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), for protecting confidential information, and needed for transfer of confidential information between a company and University investigators
  • Intellectual Property Agreements (IPAs) for compliance with sponsored research agreement terms and conditions

Invention Disclosures

Specifically for WARF, Invention Disclosure Reports (IDRs) are applicable to all discoveries by UW-Madison faculty, staff, or students for equity review and potential protection of your discovery.

Investigational New Drugs & Devices

OTRS assists the Clinical Trials Central Office (CRCO) with administrative support and management of UWCCC INDs and IDEs. IND applications fulfill two additional regulatory requirements.

Facilities Use

Facilities Use Agreements delineate non-UW use of shared resource facilities by defining terms and conditions for use and guidelines for establishing effective academic-industrial partnerships.
